Ulrike Quade
Ulrike is a theatre maker, director and scenographer. She began her career as an actress and puppeteer, specialising in traditional and avant-garde puppet theatre in Japan. In 2006, she founded the Ulrike Quade Company, with which she has since created interdisciplinary and visual theatre.
Her productions combine new technologies with current social themes, in which innovation and the spirit of the times play an important role in both form and content. Her performances, ranging from intimate lunchtime theatre to large-scale operas, are performed both nationally and internationally.
